Crying Out to God!

Simple Truth

Our best prayers are answered when we abandon all and cry out to God with all of our heart. Crying out to God is like becoming a little baby or a little child all over again! Most people can’t remember when they were a little baby, but clearly, when that little baby cried out with all of his heart, with all of his soul, and with all of his might, in that same sense, his prayer was answered because clearly he or she was given milk and clearly you, the person reading this was given milk because here you are reading these words.

There is one verse in the bible talking of children that says, “…for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10) Little babies don’t always know exactly who they are crying out to, especially when they are first born, they just simply do as Jesus said and of course they don’t have to become as little children because they already are little children and better than that, they are little babies. And so they are much like the angels who do always behold the face of God which is in heaven, so they cry out with all of their heart because God put that instinct in them right from the very day that they were born. So this instinct to cry out to God with all of our heart is a good one and even Jeremiah underlined crying out to God as a must when he said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13) So if things really are that bad and that fearful and that doubtful in anyone’s life then simply abandon all, go back to your natural instinct and cry out in that dark dark night and just like mother once came Contato pele-a-pele bebêto you with her love care and attention and fed you milk, so God will come to you in the presence of the Holy Spirit and you can just rest in her arms just like you used to rest in your mother’s arms and you can feel safe all over again, just as you once felt safe when you were a little baby when your mother used to wrap you up in her warm and tender love!

  1. A lot of truth there. Sometimes situations happen in our lives where we are totally dependent on God. The people I’ve known who have gotten close to God have had tragedies happen in their lives. I guess when life is good and your sipping champagne by the beach, you don’t really have time for God. But when things take a wrong turn and you have nowhere else to go, you start to call out to God and seek him. I guess this is what being born again is all about, you come to a point in your life when you cry out to God.

Yes, we totally agree with you. The very fact that we are Christians should surely testify to the fact that we all needed a saviour. St Paul said, “When I am weak, then am I strong, for God’s strength is made perfect in weakness” so we all turn to Jesus from the standpoint of weakness and who could be proud of weakness and so we give up on our pride because we are weak and we cry out to God time and time again so it’s an ongoing thing because we are all so human.
