No wonder it says in the book of Daniel, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and dividing of time.” (Daniel 7:25) So who is this he that speaks great words against the most High? This “he” is the Antichrist and what is he doing with the saints and their words these days? Well, you could say the saints are all being worn out with all of these doctrinal differences and therefore their words are all being watered down and for a lot of would-be saints these days, all they are left with is fuzzy boundaries whilst the Devil and his crowd are using precise thinking and precise talking because they are thinking to change times and laws and in the end all of these times and laws will be given into the Antichrist’s hands for a time and times and the dividing of time, or in other words, three and a half years.
So no wonder the Antichrist speaks great words against the Most High because he has the saints and their words all worn out and watered down by doctrinal differences and even doctrinal poison and all of the other mishmash in all of the other New English translations etc. not to mention all the fuzzy boundaries that we are left to operate within or without so is it any wonder that the Antichrist is going to speak great words against the most High seeing as he has all the saints and their words worn out and watered down and even poisoned!
In the book of Revelation, it refers to Satan as being Wormwood and so we see this great star falling from Heaven and it poisons all the fountains of waters with propaganda and false light; you could liken a fountain to a fountain of knowledge if you like, but fountains of water and knowledge should be Godly knowledge or in other words, sound minded knowledge so that when you drink of these waters you become spiritually minded and not carnally minded! But the problem we have is that the waters have become poisoned by Wormwood and people continue to drink of these waters and poison can be a slow killer or it kills you outright! And so what do we all have to do about it? St Paul’s good advice was to tell us,
“See that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17)
The word circumspectly here means: to look where one is stepping; to be vigilant, watchful, diligent, attentive. Paul goes onto say,
“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”
You could take this verse literal and avoid getting drunk because clearly you would be walking around in a stupor or you could look at it another way where people are getting into a stupor because of other imbalances and excesses so take your pick, either way, the better advice is to be filled with the Spirit. So all being said, we really do need to go back to what Paul started to say here in Ephesians 15:14 where he said,
“…awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
So we all, every one of us no matter who we are have to wake up out of our stupors, the Devil is trying to wear us all out and have us all stupefied and you could say that he’s running rings around a lot of Christians these days, he has a lot of Christians either part-sighted or blinded and they are tripping over each other not even knowing where the boundaries are anymore and worst than this, they are so blind that they are all kicking into the wrong goal so no wonder he is speaking great words against the most High, he’s boasting and bragging when he treads on our faces and rules the pitch, he’s boasting and bragging of all the goals that he’s scoring, he’s laughing his head off of all of the goals we are scoring, NOT for God but for HIM, God Help Us All!
“The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light…” (Luke 16:8)
Well yes, we are surrounded by intellects and most of us have gathered by now that the elite are a pretty switched on intellectually clever bunch of people and yes, this is their strength but our strength has always been in our weakness and so we can’t lean so much on our intellect and don’t we all know it, or a least we should, and so we cry out to Jesus for mercy and so with the Lord and His wisdom on our side we score goal after goal and so the enemy is defeated – it’s ONLY in HIM and NOT in us!
