¡Don Quixote! – ¡El cruzado loco!

Simple Truth

Don Quixote! – The Crazy Crusader!

Life can seem like battle after battle after battle but it can also be victory after victory after victory. Jesus said, “Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.” With Jesus on our side, we too can overcome the world. This is the victory that overcometh the world, even your faith (Jesus!)

Don Quixote (kee-ho-tey) de la Mancha was a funny crazy crusading hero. He thought he was a knight living in the past, and rode on an old nag in his funny armour with a pot for a helmet. He battled with giant windmills and imagined his old inn to be a great castle and he rescued fair maidens in distress. Everyone thought he was crazy when he was really noble and trying to do good. You see, it all depends on who is calling who mad!

The book Don Quixote de la Mancha was written by Cervantes in Spain and has been translated into more languages than any other book outside the Bible! Odd men who try to do good like Quixote, Pied Piper, Rasputin, Moses, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jesus and Paul were all so honest and loving but they were considered insane!

How mad we ALL are! But what freedom there is in madness!
